Maria Vlasiou has appointed as the next Director of LNMB – the Dutch Network on the Mathematics of Operations Research. She will assume this role from January 1, 2024. This network is an inter-university co-operation in which all Dutch universities and the Centre for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI). LNMB manages a prestigious PhD program aimed at broadening and deepening the knowledge of the PhD students in the mathematics of Operations Research, and serves as a central hub for mathematical researchers in the field of Operations Research.
