Diego Goldsztajn received an honorable mention in the ACM SIGMETRICS Doctoral Dissertation Award (DDA) for his thesis entitled “Fluid Limits and Optimal Task Assignment Policies for Locally Pooled Service Systems” which he defended at TU/e on December 1, 2023. Coincidentally, Sushil Varma, the winner of the award who obtained his PhD at Georgia Tech, was a visitor at EURANDOM in August 2023.
Diego was a PhD student in SPOR, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at INRIA Sophia Antipolis hosted by Dr. Kostia Avrachenkov. Many congratulations to Diego!
